The work to be completed under this contract consists of limited demolition of building components including the aluminum and glass doors and storefront system and glass block walls at the station head-houses; providing new aluminum and glass curtain-wall system at the station head-houses; new entry doors; various concrete repairs; new ceiling system in the head-houses; provide new fluid-applied floor finish system; provide new light fixtures; provide new windscreens at the platforms and new finish painting of various elements. As a result, such work will be performed pursuant to all applicable Federal laws, regulations, policies, and administrative practices which are currently in effect, and which may be established during the performance of the Work under this Contract. By submitting a bid, interested contractors must certify that they have read, understood, and agree to comply with the Federal requirements included in the Contract Documents. Any and all questions or requests for clarification relating to this procurement including, but not limited to, questions concerning Bid submission requirements, technical requirements, scope of work, and specifications, should be addressed to the Single Point of Contact no later than 5:00 p.m. EST on Wednesday, May 4, 2022. NOTE: NO questions will be accepted after this date. Responses to questions will be provided, via e-mail, by the Single Point of Contact to those firms who have registered and requested participation in the ITB. Only information supplied by the Single Point of Contact, including responses to questions regarding the ITB, should be used in preparing Bids.
