Site work for a civil project in Port Colborne, Ontario. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The Region is inviting Bids from qualified Respondents to provide professional services to modify the wall openings of the Chlorine Contact Tank at the Seaway Wastewater Treatment Plant in Port Colborne, Ontario. The scope of work for this assignment includes modifications to the chlorine contact tank as part of the Seaway Wastewater Treatment Plant upgrades in the City of Port Colborne. The specifics of this work include the filling of two (2) existing tank wall openings with concrete and the creation of two (2) new wall openings at different locations by saw cutting the existing concrete. This work will need to be completed during dry weather to minimize the impact on the plant/operations while bypassing the chlorine contact tank. The target start time will be July/August 2022, and the work will have to be completed as soon as possible so the chlorine contact tank can be brought back into service.
