Site work for a bridge / tunnel in Carnation, Washington. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel.
The anticipated start date is somewhere between July 27 and August 1. Remlinger Farms Culvert Replacement (Range $350,000 - $400,000) Sealed Bids received after the specified received by date will not be accepted All Bid Items will be Lump Sum or Incidental to other Bid Items. Major bid items will include Structure Excavation Class A; Receival, Offload, Movement, and Installation of two (2) Precast Concrete Box Culverts (heaviest pick weight approximately 40,000 lbs.); Utility Work; Temporary Stream Diversion and Groundwater Dewatering; Instream Large Wood Habitat Structure Installation; and other items in conformance with the 2020 WSDOT Standard Specifications, the Engineering Plans, and Specifications. Knowledge and experience with water pumps, bypass setup, and dewatering wells is critical. Knowledge of and respect for aquatic animal species removal and relocation is highly sought due to the high numbers of coho salmon in Langlois Creek.
