Site work and paving for a road / highway in Clam Lake, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The Ashland County Highway Department will be undertaking a highway improvement project on County Trunk Highway "GG" in the Town of Marengo and the Town of Gordon, Ashland County, WI. Sealed bids will be received for construction of CTH GG Improvement Project, 2022, in one contract, as follows: 13,100 Tons of Asphaltic Pavement, Type 4 LT58-34S 66,000 Square Yards of Asphaltic Surface Milling Incidental Items All bids shall be submitted on the forms furnished with the specifications. Each bid shall be accompanied by a Bid Bond in the amount of five (5) percent of the bid price payable to Ashland County as a guarantee that if the bid is accepted the bidder will execute and file the proper contract and bond within the time set by the County or the bid deposit shall be forfeited as liquidated damages. The successful bidder shall be required to furnish a Performance Bond and Payment Bond payable to Ashland County for one hundred (100) percent of the contract price for each of the bonds in accordance with the requirements of the contract documents. The Ashland County Highway Department reserves the right to reject any or all bids, or to accept any bid they deem in the best interests of the Ashland County Highway Department. This project will be partially funded with WI DOT Local Road Improvement Program (LRIP) funds.
