Renovation of a communication facility in Eastvale, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a communication facility.
Description of Work The proposed work shall be performed in accordance with the plans, specifications and other contract documents and shall consist of the following: Project improvements include but are not limited to new conduit, pull boxes, fiber optic cabling, fiber fusion splicing, splice closures, fiber distribution units, ethernet switches, conflict monitor units, wireless radios, system configuration, system integration, and fiber testing and documentation.The cash, cashier's check, certified check or bid bond shall be given as a guarantee that the successful bidder will enter into a written contract within ten (10) days after being requested to do so and will be considered as the stipulated amount of liquidated damages in the event the bidder is unable to or refuses to execute a contract for the work. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids. Any bid not conforming to the intent and purpose of the Contract documents may be rejected. The City reserves the right to make all awards in the best interest of the City. The successful bidder will be required to furnish, prior to the performance of any work hereunder, a payment bond in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100.0%) of the Contract price, and a faithful performance bond in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100.0%) of the Contract price.
