The Town of Athol, MA is seeking sealed bids for Wastewater Treatment Facility Clarifier No. 1 Drive Replacement. The work shall consist of furnishing all necessary workmanship and materials required for a complete drive replacement for Clarifier No. 1 and all related work as described herein. The drive shall match the drive in Clarifier No.2, which is a DBS drive, Model D30-AE (serial number 117CB4K), with E-Type Primary Reducer and a 3/4 hp motor. The work will require demolition, disposal and disconnection of the existing drive and installation and reconnection to power and SCADA for the new drive. Contractor Qualification Required for DCAMM contracts over $150,000, Highway Division contracts over $50,000. The work shall consist of furnishing all necessary workmanship and materials required for a complete clarifier drive replacement for Clarifier No. 1 and all related work as described herein. The drive shall match the drive in Clarifier No.2, which is a DBS drive, Model D30-AE (serial number 117CB4K), with EType Primary Reducer and a 3/4 hp motor. The work will require demolition, disposal and disconnection of the existing drive and reconnection to power and SCADA for new drive. The work shall be conducted in accordance with the Town of Athol, Athol Public Works Department, Sewer Division schedule. Said work may be, at the discretion of the Town, scheduled anytime during the contract period. Refer to Attachment C for technical specifications and plans. The scope of this Project consists of the clarifier drive replacement in Clarifier No. 1 at the Wastewater Treatment Facility located at 69 Jones Street Athol, Massachusetts. The Project shall include all necessary or incidental associated work to prepare the existing site and to replace the clarifier drive as indicated in these documents.
