Description: The work includes raising the grade of the CTH D causeway across Buffalo Lake in Marquette County. The CTH D roadway will be reconstructed for approximately 1800-ft from the bridge south of Lake Street to Freedom Road. Project work includes pulverizing asphalt, excavation, lightweight fill comprised of wood chips, salvaged materials, select borrow, base aggregate dense, HDPE culvert pipes, sheet piling shoring, riprap, erosion control, restoration, and other miscellaneous items in conformance to the Contract Documents. Finishing work including asphalt, shouldering, and pavement markings will be done by county forces after completion of this project.
