Site work and paving for a road / highway in Boxborough, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
Pursuant to MGL Chapter 30, sec. 39M, the Town of Boxborough through its Chief Procurement Officer is soliciting Sealed Bids for the Micro-milling, Paving, and Crack Sealing of various roads in Town with labor associated thereto. 1 In general, the scope of work includes the Depot Road (from Littlefield Road to train tracks), Davidson Road, Colonial Ridge Drive, Chester Road, Pine Pasture Run, Old Orchard Lane, Morse Lane, Old Harvard Road, and Houghton Lane, and crack sealing of listed roads on the bid forms. 2 Work Area: The scope of work includes all land and areas depicted to be altered on the project plans. The Work Area includes all incidental areas needed to be altered or modified to blend grading or for other purposes as described herein. 3 The estimated quantities shown in the bid forms are approximate and are given to provide a uniform basis for comparison of bids and may not necessarily reflect the actual quantity of work to be performed. The Public Works Director reserves the right to increase, decrease or eliminate the quantity of any particular item of work. The Contractor shall calculate and provide all quantities as are necessary to fulfill the scope of work herein-described.
