Upgrades, repairs and improvement to the Saint-Pierre interchange that is the link between Highway 20 and Route 138, which leads to the south shore of Montreal via the Honoré-Mercier Bridge. Built in 1966, it will require extensive work over the next few years. The major project of the Saint-Pierre interchange aims in particular to ensure the sustainability of the infrastructures and to improve traffic flow in this sector. TIMELINE: The project that will be accomplished in Montreal Lachine and LaSalle boroughs is in a preliminary stage and is included in the 2020-2024 Strategic Plan of the Quebec Ministry of Transportation. The owner has awarded, following the Request for proposals 3116-21-AA01, a consortium of engineering professional consulting firms to carry out analyzes and studies to determine solutions for the Saint-Pierre interchange project implementation. Study report submission is anticipated in late 2023. Scope of work, budget and timelines of the project development will be finalized based on the submitted report data. Further update in late 2023. Note. According to the Quebec Treasury Board Secretariat list the value of the project exceeds $50 million.
