Demolition and site work for a civil project in Durham, North Carolina. Completed plans call for the demolition of a bridge / tunnel; for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and water / sewer project.
This project involves the removal of one municipally-owned bridge located in the City of Durham, as well as stream restoration, storm sewer repair, and erosion control. The work to be performed includes but is not limited to the removal of the existing Bridge No. 310233, grading of existing channel side slopes, installation stream bank restoration devices and erosion control measures, repairs to adjacent storm sewer networks, and replacement of existing aerial utility support piers and installation of utility encasement pipe. Each bidder must be licensed under Chapter 87 of the North Carolina General Statutes. The City Council of the City of Durham reserves the right to reject any or all of the Bids. All bids must include a non-collusion affidavit. To ensure that all bidders are kept up to date on any addenda, changes, or information notices, please send an e-mail to James.Steinberger@durhamnc.gov indicating your intention to prepare a bid for the project. Failure to complete this step may render your bid as nonresponsive. Questions received less than seven (7) days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered. Only questions answered by Addenda will be binding. Oral and other interpretations or clarifications shall be without legal effect.
