The Sponsor of this project is the Phoenix Mesa Gateway Airport Authority. The intent of the Taxiway C Connectors project is to expand the existing taxiway network on the northeast side of the airfield and provide a new partial taxiway and associated connector taxiways that will connect a future Hangar/Apron Project (By Others) to the existing Taxiway C pavements. The newly constructed Taxiway system will consist of approximately 20,792 square yards of Portland Cement Concrete pavement, with and adjacent Asphalt Concrete pavement shoulder, infield grading, taxiway lighting and signage, site drainage, vehicle service road improvements, and pavement markings. Every bid must be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check or surety bond for ten percent (10%) of the amount of the bid. The bidder shall guarantee the Total Bid Price for a period of one hundred twenty (180) calendar days from the date of Bid Opening to Notice of Award. In accordance with the provisions of Arizona Revised Statutes (ARS) 32-1101 through 32-1170.3, the Owner has determined that the Contractor shall possess, at a minimum, a valid Class A General Engineering License at the time that the Contract is bid. Failure to possess the specific license shall render the bid as non-responsive and shall serve to bar award of the contract to any bidder not possessing said license at the bid opening. Owner reserves the right to cancel this IFB at any time.
