The work will include but is not limited to, the cleaning and Cured-In-Place-Pipe (CIPP) rehabilitation of approximately 27,700 linear feet of sanitary sewer main and storm drain ranging in size from 8-inch to 24-inch located throughout the Township of Montclair. In addition to rehabilitation work, cleaning and CCTV inspection of approximately 11,000 linear feet of sanitary sewer main ranging in size from 8-inch to 21-inch along Watchung Avenue. The Contractor will abide by conditions and requirements for the scope of work and all coordination with property owners before and after rehabilitation activities. The Contractor shall be responsible to complete this work in accordance with all regulations set forth by the Authority having jurisdiction of the applicable Rights-Of-Way. Complementary work to furnish and install accessory materials as may be necessary may be if and where directed items by the Owner. The Contractor shall be responsible for providing all labor, supervision, trade skills, materials, and equipment required for this project as described in the Construction Documents. The work contemplated under this Contract shall be completed on or before 150 days after Notice to Proceed. Bids shall be made upon the prescribed forms, furnished with the Contract Drawings and Specifications, including the non-collusion affidavit and ownership statement compliance form, and must be accompanied by a Consent of Surety and a certified check, cashier's check, or Bid Bond of not less than ten (10%) percent of the amount bid and, not to exceed $20,000.00. The successful bidder shall furnish and deliver to the Owner a performance and payment bond in the amount of 100 percent of the accepted bid amount as security for the faithful performance and payment of the Contract. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids pursuant to applicable law and regulations, to waive informalities or irregularities in the bids received and to accept the bid from the lowest, responsive, and responsible bidder.
