Each and every bid shall be accompanied by a sworn and notarized statement disclosing any familial relationship that exists between the owner or any employee of the firm submitting the bid and Northwest Community Schools. Bids shall be executed on Bid Form provided. Each proposal must be accompanied by a satisfactory certified check, money order, or bid bond payable to Northwest Community Schools for not less than five (5%) percent of the amount of the bid and delivered in a sealed envelop bearing the bidders name, address, and project identification. Bidder Requests for Information ("RFI") and Substitution Requests shall be submitted no later than October 11th, 2024, at 12:00 pm, to the office of the Construction Manager, Triangle Associates, Inc., at 3769 Three Mile Road NW, Grand Rapids, MI 49534. All bids submitted shall be from a prime bidder only and shall include all subcontractor costs for scopes identified in the contract documents. This project does not require prevailing wages. Successful bidder(s) will be rewarded by AIA A101-2017 Standard Form of Agreement between Owner and Contractor, as modified, issued by the Owner following action by Northwest Community Schools. The project scope of work includes earthwork, foundation, concrete, masonry, structural steel, carpentry, roofing, aluminum, glass, drywall and related interior trades, flooring, painting, food service equipment, plumbing and electrical for the addition of the Northwest Middle School building. The Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, to waive any irregularities in biding and to refrain from accepting or rejecting any bids for a period of thirty (30) days after the bid opening.
