Over time, typical fluxuating weather conditions has led to deteriorating conditions thus causing tripping/safety hazards for both veterans and employees. Objectives The objective of the acquisition is the envelope/stairway repair of Building 13 and the Building 9 ADA wheelchair ramp of the VA Hudson Valley Health Care System in accordance with VA, ADA and relevant criteria as noted in the associated design documents and specifications. Period of Performance The period of performance will be 180 calendar days from NTP. Place of Performance / Place of Delivery The place of performance for this contract is VA Hudson Valley Healthcare Castle Point, NY Scope or Tasks (for services) The contractor will furnish all materials, equipment, supervision, and personnel necessary to accomplish the repairs of the sidewalks around the Castle Point Campus of the Hudson Valley Health Care System. The contractor shall adhere to all accompanying drawings, specifications, and any local and federal codes, regulations, and procedures that apply. Work shall include, but not be limited to, selective demolition, pouring of concrete into fabricated concrete forms, concrete crack repair, grinding of concrete edges, and expansion joint installation. The contractor will furnish all materials, equipment, supervision, and personnel necessary to accomplish Envelope Stairs in accordance with the statement of work (SOW), specifications and drawings attached hereto. The Contractor will be responsible to coordinate and schedule work and shall be expected to plan work as outlined in the Statement of Work, Drawings, and Specifications.
