The Project consists of constructing approximately 4,470 SY street pavement, curb inlets, RCP storm culvert, and other appurtenances and miscellaneous improvements as shown on the Drawings. Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a unit price basis as indicated in the Bid Form. Work under the proposed Contract shall be commenced within ten calendar days from the date of Notice to Proceed, and the work shall be substantially completed on or before December 1, 2022, and completed by December 31, 2022, subject to any extension of time which may be granted by the Owner The Issuing Office for the Bidding Documents is: A&D Technical Supply Co. Inc., 4320 S 89th Street, Omaha, Nebraska, 68127, (402) 592-4950. Upon Issuing Office s receipt of payment, printed Bidding Documents will be sent via the prospective Bidder s delivery method of choice; the shipping charge will depend on the shipping method chosen. The date that the Bidding Documents are transmitted by the Issuing Office will be considered the prospective Bidder s date of receipt of the Bidding Documents. Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including Addenda if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office. Bid security shall be in the amount of five percent (5%) and furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. Contractor shall comply with Federal procurement standards set forth in the bidding documents to the extent that such standards apply to the work, and are required for the costs of such work to be eligible for FEMA reimbursement. To the extent applicable, Contractor shall ensure that each of its subcontractors includes certain provisions and that each sub-contractors complete with the requirements set forth in each provision. Contractor and subcontractors shall provide evidence of System for Award Management (SAM) registration. The award of the construction contract by the Owner is contingent upon the Owner receiving FEMA funding approval. No pre-bid conference will be held. No Bidder shall withdraw his Bid within 30 days after the actual date of the opening thereof. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive irregularities and informalities therein and to award the Contract in the best interest of the Owner *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
