The City of Alameda is a charter city with a population of over 75,000. This project is to be compliant with the City of Alameda Specifications, Special Provisions and Plans. The project will include tree pruning; both young and mature tree pruning in the public right-of-way, parks and private property; stump grinding; tree planting; wire clearance, and tree removals (see Exhibit A, Scope of Work). The Service provider shall keep himself fully informed of all existing and future state and federal laws and all municipal ordinances and regulations of the City of Alameda which in any manner affect those engaged or employed in the work, or the materials used in the work, or which in any way affect the conduct of the work, and of all such orders and decrees of bodies or tribunals having any jurisdiction or authority over the same. The project will begin on July 1, 2022. The City reserves the right to cancel or reject all or a portion or portions of the request for Bids without notice. Further, the City makes no representations that any agreement will be awarded to any organization submitting a Bid. The City reserves the right to reject any and all Bids submitted in response to this request or any addenda thereto. The Service provider shall procure a City of Alameda business license, pay all charges and fees, and give all notices necessary and incidental to the due and lawful prosecution of the work. The cost for a City of Alameda business license is not reimbursable. Each Subservice provider shall have a current City of Alameda business license.
