In general, but not limited to, the works consist of: Decohesioning of the existing paving; MG-20 stone granular reloading; Single paving layer of 70 mm in ESG-14, bitumen type PG-58H-34; Replacement of transverse and longitudinal culverts; Pavement marking; Restoration of the premises; Other related works. Tenders must be accompanied by either a tender bond or a certified check established at 10% of the amount of the work, valid for a period of sixty (60) days from the date of opening of tenders, made out to the order of the Municipality of Sainte-Monique. The contractual documents can be obtained, from April 13, 2022 , via the electronic tendering system. The contractor will have forty (40) working days to carry out all of the work, starting on the first Monday following the official thaw date decreed by the Ministère des Transports du Québec. However, work in Sector A, Range 6 West and Sector B, Range 6 East (2+155 to 2+510) must be fully completed within twenty (20) working days from the first Monday following the date of official thaw decreed by the Ministère des Transports du Québec. Any interested bidder may visit the work site during the normal office hours of the Municipality. It is his responsibility to carefully examine the premises, documents and conditions relating to the work before submitting his bid. Only bids prepared by companies that have requested the plans, specifications and tender documents, accompanied by the required documents, and who hold an appropriate contractors' license issued by the Régie du bâtiment du Québec or any organization will be considered. equivalent of a province or territory covered by a public procurement agreement with Quebec. Tenderers are responsible for the choice of subcontractors, both for their solvency and for the content of their tender, and must inform them of the conditions they intend to impose on them and ensure that they hold the required permits and licenses.
