Renovation of a water / sewer project in Mims, Florida. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
North Brevard Wastewater Treatment Facility Sand Filter Media Replacement and Optional Painting. SCOPE OF WORK 1. The Contractor will provide all materials, equipment, labor and supervision required to complete this scope of work. 2. Both (2) filters are used in the wastewater facility. Each chamber is 10' X 11' X 9'. Copies of filter drawings are included in this Invitation to Bid. See Attachments B As Built Drawings. 3. One filter chamber will have to completed at a time. 4. The Contractor will remove and dispose of sand and gravel media from down draft mixed bed sand filters. Care must be taken to not loosen or lift slotted plates from bottom of sand filter. 5. After media removal, the Contractor will inspect the bottom 12" filter blocks. Damaged blocks will be reported to County personnel.
