The work for the Mc graw Park shall consist of, but not be limited to, the complete and satisfactory construction of the following: Approximately 898 feet total of black chain link fence excluding gates. Fence, footage, consists of 598 feet of fence 4 feet high and 300 feet of fence 12 feet high. Four gates shall be required consisting of 3-4 foot wide and 1-10 foot wide gates, locations as indicated on the site plan. The work for the High School Athletic Field Fences shall consist of, but not be limited to, the complete and satisfactory construction of the following: Remove and reinstall approximately 153 feet of existing six-foot high fence to closely align 6 feet off the press box stairs and include one new 10 feet wide by 6 feet high gate. Install 145 feet of new galvanized 6-foot high fence along the parking lot and walkway to connect to the existing guard rail as indicated on the site plan. No Proposal will be considered unless it is accompanied by a bid security in the form of a bid bond or certified check in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total bid price, made out in favor of the City of Lewiston. All bid securities will be released upon deliverance of a signed Contract or, if no Contract award is made, within forty-five (45) days after the opening of the Proposals, unless forfeited as herein stipulated. A Performance Bond and a Labor and Material Payment Bond, preferably executed on AIA Bond Form Number A311, in an amount equal to the total Contract price, of a surety company satisfactory to the Purchasing Agent will be required of the successful bidder to ensure completion of the work and the proper fulfillment of the conditions of the Contract. The total Contract price shall mean the total bid price as stated in the Proposal based on the estimated quantities of the various items of work.
