The Village of Sheridan is requesting proposals for construction of a salt shed to be located directly East of the Village Maintenance Building located at 1025 W. Si Johnson Avenue in Sheridan, IL. The salt shed shall be no less than 22 feet wide, 24 feet deep and 10 feet high. The proposal shall include a picture or drawing of the proposed structure which must be prepared, signed and sealed by an Illinois licensed structural engineer or architect. The proposal shall include site preparation including removal and disposal of the exiting salt storage facilities and a cement base for the new salt shed. More than one option may be submitted as separate proposals by the same offerer. The salt shed proposal and construction will be considered a public work project and bidder shall not pay less than the prevailing rates of wages to all laborers, workmen, and mechanics performing work under this contract in compliance with the requirements of the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act (820 ILCS 130/1-12). Bidders must be qualified under the Village's Responsible Bidder Resolution. The Village of Sheridan reserves the right to reject any and all bids. WORK PROJECT: The Village of Sheridan is requesting proposals for a removal of an existing salt shed and construction of a new salt shed no less than 22 feet wide, 24 feet deep and 10 feet high at or near the location of the old salt shed at 1025 W. Si Johnson Avenue in Sheridan, Illinois but facing north. More than one option may be submitted as separate proposals by the same offerer.
