The purpose of this bid is to provide the Sweetwater Union High School District with a qualified firm to resurface tennis courts at Otay Ranch High School. Commodity Code [022-912-00] CONSTRUCTION SERVICES, GENERAL, INCLUDING MAINTENANCE AND REPAIR SERVICES) [022-988-00] ROADSIDE, GROUNDS, RECREATIONAL AND PARK AREA SERVICES Bid Bond None Remove and haul away all existing tennis posts, nets and debris. o Saw cut a 3'x3' section around all tennis posts and demo all existing footings three (3') feet deep to install new tennis post ground sleeves. o Saw cut a 1'x1' section around all center strap anchors, two (2') feet deep to install new center strap anchors. o All footings shall have 3/8" rebar pinned into existing concrete 12" on center and poured with 5,000 PSI concrete with fiber. o Remove all existing caulking, clean all joints and re-caulk with elastomeric caulking material. o Pressure wash/water blast, using 4,000 to 5,000 PSI hydro blaster or diamond grind existing surface. Remove any bubbling or peeling of existing surface. o Patch all cracks with elastomeric crack sealant and crack filler. Grind or sand any uneven surfaces as needed. Clean and prepare existing surfaces. o Surface all tennis court areas with a 100% acrylic sports surfacing system for application on concrete. o Apply one (1) coat of acrylic concrete primer. o Apply one (1) coat of sand-filled resurfacer. o Apply two (2) coats of sand-filled acrylic color - colors TBD by site. o Apply line sharp to seal tape for straight lines [Stripe per "United States Tennis Association" (USTA)]. o Install new net posts, post sleeves, post sleeve caps, tennis nets, center anchors and straps. o Provide one (1) 42" water broom (Hydro-Mizer Model #WB-42) and two 48" sport squeegee or equal. o All products and materials data/spec sheets shall be submitted for district approval. (refer to Page 11, Section 28; Substitutions) o Provide a 2-hour minimum preventive maintenance training to site staff. - Time and date TBD on a mutually agreed basis.
