Renovation of an educational facility in Louisville, Kentucky. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.

As of 05/26/2022 This project has not been awarded. Evans Hall - Roof Upgrade: 1. Low Slope: Remove existing roof membrane down to existing roof deck. Remove existing skylight & install new structure. Install 2-Ply SBS Modified Bituminous Membrane Roofing system over cover board insulation. Provide crickets where indicated. Install metal wall panels at interior mansard walls. 2. Steep Slope: Remove existing shingle roof system down to existing roof deck. Install new vented substrate. Install new shingles on low slope and mansard walls. Repair existing copper gutters. 3. Lighting & Drywall: Modify existing skylight & clerestory wells for new GWB ceiling, painting and lighting systems. Gregory-Reis Student Center - Roof Upgrade: 1. Low Slope: Remove existing roof membrane down to existing roof decks. Install 2-Ply SBS Modified Bituminous Membrane Roofing system over ridged layer insulation and cover board insulation. Install new substructure and liquid applied roofing at patio area. Provide crickets where indicated. Install new gutters. Clean and seal stone copings. 2. Steep Slope: Remove existing shingle roof system down to existing roof deck. Install new vented substrate. Install new shingles, gutters, downspouts. Langan Gym - Roof Upgrade: 1. Remove existing roof membrane systems, down to existing roof decks. Install 2-Ply SBS Modified Bituminous Membrane Roofing system over ridged layer insulation and cover board insulation. Provide crickets where indicated. Install new gutters and scuppers. Install roof access ladders All bids shall be accompanied by a bid guarantee (in the form of a bid bond or certified check) of not less than five (5%) percent of the amount of the lump sum base bid. A 100% Performance Bond and a separate 100% Payment Bond shall be furnished by the successful bidder. All bonding and insurance requirements are contained in the Instructions to Bidders and/or General Conditions. Bonds should be executed by a surety company authorized to do business in the Commonwealth of Kentucky. No bidder may withdraw his bid for a period of thirty (30) days after the date set for the opening of bids. The Division of Engineering and Contract Administration, Commonwealth of Kentucky, reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive all informalities and/or technicalities where the best interest of the Commonwealth may be served.
