Clean/Power Wash the bridge and prepare for fresh paint or coatings by wire brushing exposed metal surfaces and apply primers and top coats. Trinity River Authority of Texas CRWS Facilities Maintenance Department is soliciting bids to repair a 5-ton Gaffey Bridge Crane in our 48I Sludge Handling Facility. This is a MANDATORY pre-bid meeting! This means that any vendor wishing to submit a bid MUST have a representative in attendance or else any subsequent bids for this opportunity will NOT be accepted. Please note that any individuals who would like to attend the pre-bid meeting must be registered beforehand either via the website or by emailing ridingsbj@trinityra.org. Also please note that any individuals who come on site for the meeting must show a valid (non-expired) form of government ID (Drivers License, Passport, etc.), or else they will not be permitted entry to the project. Upon arrival on April 21st, please proceed to the Purchasing Department building where the meeting will commence before vendors will be led to the repair site where they can view and inspect the crane directly.The term of bid will be for FIVE MONTHS commencing on July 1, 2022 and ending on November 30, 2022. The AUTHORITY reserves the right to accept or reject all or any part of any bid, waive minor technicalities or deficiencies, and award the bid to best serve the interests of the AUTHORITY.
