Renovation of an educational facility in Danville, Kentucky. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Estimated Length of Project: Phased (Substantial Completion) + 30 (Final Completion) Thomas Hall - Roof Upgrade 1. Remove existing roof membrane system, skylight and curb down to existing roof deck. Install 2-Ply SBS Modified Bituminous Membrane Roofing system over ridged layer insulation and cover board insulation. Provide crickets where indicated. Install new roof access ladders. Raise through wall flashings where indicated. Grow Hall - Roof Upgrade 2. Low Slope: Remove existing roof membrane system down to existing roof deck. Install 2-Ply SBS Modified Bituminous Membrane Roofing system over ridged layer insulation, tapered insulation where indicated and cover board insulation. Provide crickets where indicated. Install new coping caps, gutters, downspouts and roof access ladders. 3. Steep Slope: Remove existing shingle roof system down to existing roof deck. Install new pre-finished galvanized standing seam roof system. Install new gutters and downspouts. Kerr Hall - Roof Upgrade 4. Remove existing roof membrane system, skylight and curb down to existing roof deck. Infill skylight opening with new steel decking. Install 2-Ply SBS Modified Bituminous Membrane Roofing system over ridged layer insulation, tapered insulation where indicated and cover board insulation. Provide crickets where indicated. Raise concrete scupper openings where indicated. 5. Lighting & Drywall: Modify existing skylight wells for new GWB ceiling, painting and lighting system
