Renovation of an educational facility in Albany, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
The work of this single bid project includes the renovation of the Former Albany High School building 3rd floor South Wing, including demolition, hazardous materials abatement, new room configurations with all new finishes throughout, new mechanical, electrical, fire protection and plumbing systems, new maker tinker space and associated sitework. All bidders must present evidence of skill, experience and financial qualifications per Information to Bidders, Section 7 of the project specs. Subcontracting is permitted (Section 2.18 of SUCF Agreement). Principal subcontractors must be named within 48 hrs after bid opening per Information for Bidders Section 8. Bidders must submit within 48 hrs either certification of its NYS VendRep questionnaire (preferred) or a signed and notarized paper CCA2 form (Version 9/13 only), Attachments A, B, and C, Appendix A form, work descriptions, and preliminary project schedule. EEO goals for this project: 6% minority workforce and 3% female workforce Estimated Range- $5,000,000 - $10,000,000 *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. All work will be completed within 426 calendar days from receipt of the Notice to Proceed.
