The necessary documents and other information can be obtained through the Electronic Tender System service, which is an electronic tendering system set up by the Government of Quebec. Subscribers to this service can obtain the documents relating to this call for tenders by contacting Electronic Tender System and paying the required fees. Anyone interested can contact the Electronic Tender Systemservice at the telephone number 1-866-669-7326. Tenders must be accompanied by a certified check payable to the order of the Town of Chandler for an amount equivalent to ten percent (10%) of the total amount of the tender or a tender bond from the Insurance company established at the same amount and valid for a period of ninety (90) days from the date of opening of tenders and payable to the applicant. In addition to the 10% bid bond, the bidder must attach to his bid a performance guarantee of an amount equal to or greater than 50% of the total amount of the bid, all taxes included. This performance guarantee will be kept until the final delivery of the water meters. The Town of Chandler does not undertake to accept the lowest or any of the tenders submitted and incurs no costs or obligations for losses suffered by the tenderers as a result of such decisions.
