Reference number : 1595235 Review Title : Road repairs 2022 - Route Saint-Alphonse Nord and 8e Rang Sud Deadline for receipt of complaints: 2022-04-25 Submission sent electronically accepted: Nope Estimated value: $732,400 to $5,283,199 CALL FOR TENDERS MUNICIPALITY OF SAINT-BRUNO REPAIR WORK 2021 - ROUTE SAINT-ALPHONSE NORD AND 8E RANG SUD The Municipality of Saint-Bruno, acting for itself, is requesting tenders for the repair of roads on Route Saint-Alphonse North, for an approximate total length of 1310 meters, from the Route 169/Route Saint-Alphonse intersection and the replacement of 6 culverts and the cleaning of a ditch in the 8th Rang south. The purpose of the project is to carry out road works, summing up, but not limited to: Cleaning of ditches; New ditches; Removal of vegetation on the shoulder; Replacement of private driveway culverts; Replace cross culverts; Leveling of the existing paving; Paving of the road; Mark the pavement; All related work. Culvert replacement details: Route Saint-Alphonse Nord: One (1) major culvert and three (3) medium-sized culverts Rang 8 South: One (1) major culvert and five (5) medium-sized culverts The paving totals approximately 1,500 metric tons . The bitumen is PG-58H-34 type. The price of bitumen is indexable in the case of Route Saint-Alphonse, and non-indexable for work in Rang 8 Sud. Bids must be accompanied by either a bid bond or a certified check established at 10% of the amount of the work, valid for a period of ninety (90) days from the date of opening of tenders, made out to the order of the Municipality of Saint-Bruno. The contract documents can be obtained, as of April 14, 2022, via the electronic tendering system. The work must be completed no later than September 16, 2022. The work must be completed within a maximum of fifty-five (55) days of execution. Any interested bidder may visit the work site during normal office hours of the municipality. It is his responsibility to carefully examine the premises, documents and conditions relating to the work before submitting his bid. Only companies that have requested the plans, specifications and tender documents and hold the appropriate contractor license(s), issued by the Régie du bâtiment du Québec or by any equivalent body from a province or territory covered by a public procurement agreement with Quebec, are eligible to bid. Tenderers are responsible for the choice of subcontractors, both for their solvency and for the content of their tender, and must inform them of the conditions they intend to impose on them and ensure that they hold the required permits and licenses. The Municipality does not undertake to accept the lowest or any of the tenders received and declines all responsibility with regard to the tenderers. The Municipality reserves the right not to retain any tender, in particular if the proposed price of the lowest compliant tender shows a significant difference with that provided for in the estimate established by the Municipality or is higher than market rates.
