Contractor agrees to provide all labor, materials, supplies, parts, equipment, travel, disposal, recycling, and incidentals necessary to provide fencing maintenance, repair and replacement services. This Agreement will commence on September 1, 2022 (estimate) or upon approval by Caltrans, whichever is later, and no work shall begin before that time. This Agreement is of no effect unless approved by Caltrans. Contractor shall not receive payment for work performed prior to approval of the Agreement and before receipt of notice to proceed by Caltrans Contract Manager. This Agreement shall expire on August 31, 2025 (estimate) As required by Executive Order S-02-06, the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) is committed to meeting the States 25 percent (25%) Small Business (SB) participation goal. Certified SBs, Micro Businesses (MB), SBs for the purpose of Public Works (SB-PW), are encouraged to submit bids. See Section D, Special Programs, Item 1, in this IFB for requirements. Proposed Award Date (estimate) 08/25/2022 Questions regarding this IFB must be submitted in writing by July 28, 2022. Bidders are encouraged to submit their written questions via e-mail to Katie.Raderchak@dot.ca.gov Payment Bond (ADM-2009) Requirement: If the successful bidders bid exceeds $25,000, the successful bidder shall furnish a Payment Bond for not less than 100 percent (100%) of the total amount payable by the terms of this Agreement. Caltrans reserves the right to reject all bids for reasonable cause.
