NMSA Audio Sound Systems North Chicago Community Unit School District 187 (District 187) is accepting bid proposals for audio sound systems in the new Neal Math and Science Academy (NMSA), a middle school for grades 6 through 8. The NMSA project generally consists of a new five-story facility located at 1905 Argonne Drive in North Chicago, Illinois 60064. The new building is currently under construction and is expected to deliver to the school district in August 2022, prior to the start of the 2022-2023 school year. The NMSA project generally includes new classrooms, special education programming, science labs, dining/commons, media center, common living rooms for each grade, administrative offices, teacher collaboration centers, staff lounge, staff resource rooms, multi-purpose room, and renovation of an existing, attached gymnasium. The work of this contract generally includes, but is not limited to, furnishing and installing low-voltage cabling and audio system equipment, programming, testing, and training. The work of this contract also includes integration of two (2) video systems furnished and installed by others. Conduit and power to be provided by others.
