Project Number: 3CRPK1863 The nCino Sports Park will redevelop the former Flemington Landfill and is currently used as the Cape Fear Regional Soccer Park or is undeveloped. The +/- 65 acre property is regulated by both the NCDEQ Pre-Regulatory Landfill Unit and the North Carolina Brownfields Program (NCBP). The redevelopment will consist of renovations to the existing northern soccer fields, construction of four (4) natural turf fields, one (1) synthetic turf field, a +/- 2,600 square foot restroom / concessions building, a maintenance yard with salvaged Conex containers and a shade structure; way-finding signage, road widening at Sutton Steamplant Road, athletic lighting, concrete walks, ADA parking, gravel drives and parking, athletic lights and other supporting infrastructure including a new septic system, renovations and upgrades to the landfill gas venting system, vegetative swales and level spreaders, site lighting, and utility connections. In accordance with the City of Wilmington's Minority/Disadvantaged Business Policy, the bidder shall make good faith efforts, as defined by the Bid Specifications, to subcontract 14% of the dollar value of the prime contract to businesses which are at least 51% owned and controlled by minority, socially, and/or economically disadvantaged individuals (MBE/DBE's).
