The Corporation of the County of Peterborough (the County) is requesting tender submissions for the rehabilitation of Firehall Bridge over Baxter Creek, and re-pavement work at the Distillery Street Bridge in Millbrook, Ontario. The following is a brief description of the work, but not limited to: - Establish traffic control and staging to accommodate construction in two stages utilizing temporary portable traffic signals. - Remove and reconstruct concrete deck topping slab and sidewalks. - Reconstruct top portions of ballast walls and install new expansion joints. - Remove steel panel railings and construction concrete parapet walls with architectural concrete form liner panels (provisional) and railings. - Reconstruct top portion of retaining walls and install new pedestrian railings. - Miscellaneous concrete patch repairs. - Remove existing asphalt on approaches and place new hot mix asphalt. - Reconstruction of concrete curb & gutter and sidewalks on approaches. - Distillery Street Bridge - asphalt removal, waterproof and repave. The Contractor, having carefully examined the site of the proposed work, and having read, understood, and accepted the provisions, plans, specifications, and conditions attached hereto, each and all of which forms part of the Tender, agrees to complete the work on this contract on or before the fixed completion date of October 28, 2022. The Contractor is hereby made aware that no work is permitted prior to June 13, 2022.
