Renovation of an educational facility in Ocoee, Florida. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
As of January 23, 2023, an engineer has been selected for the project. A firm timeline for construction has not been established. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: Major elements of the project include: 1. Capital renewal of select building systems in all permanent buildings at Westbrooke Elementary School, located at 500 Tomyn Blvd, Ocoee, FL 34761 2. Renewal of the campus-wide heating, ventilating and air conditioning (HVAC) system, including but not limited to refurbishment or replacement of existing air distribution equipment, the building automation system, chillers and select equipment and piping replacements in the central energy plant (CEP), including the additions of surge protection for chillers along with incidental power modifications to support the HVAC system design. Question End Date 4/26/2022 2:00 PM The campus will remain occupied during design and construction. The estimated construction cost is $3,896,000. The primary scope of this project is Mechanical in nature. Preference will be given to a Prime with Mechanical experience. Design/Pre-construction Services Commencement: August 2022 Construction Notice to Proceed: September 2023 Substantial Completion: December 2024 The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time.
