Provide a detailed proposal to furnish all labor, material and equipment to remove the existing metal stairway system in the Wastewater Treatment Plant Thickener Building and install a fiberglass reinforced plastic (FRP) stairway system per the project drawings and specifications. No bid may be withdrawn for at least ninety (90) days after the scheduled closing time for receiving bids. All bids must be submitted on proposal forms provided by the City of Port Huron for that purpose. The City of Port Huron reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, to waive any defects or irregularities in the proposal, and to accept any proposal which is deemed most advantageous to the said City's interests. The successful proposer will be required to furnish satisfactory performance, labor and materials bonds, maintenance and guarantee bonds and insurance certificates. All companies are required to qualify according to the qualification regulations for contractors bidding on City of Port Huron contracts as set forth in the instruction to bidders.
