The City of Apopka is seeking Bids from qualified firm(s) (Supplier/Contractor), for Harmon Road Extension, New Signal Installation, New Fire Station Site Preparation, and Affiliated Stormwater Facilities. The City intends to award a bid and issue a signed Purchase Order to the lowest qualified Bidder. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any and all irregularity in any bid. The Harmon Road Extension and new signal at its intersection with Ocoee Apopka Road was planned by the City when the Advent Health Hospital on Harmon Road construction began in 2017. Also planned at that time was the construction of Fire Station 6, which will be constructed on the north side of the Harmon Road Extension. To accelerate delivery of Fire Station 6, the roadway and fire station construction are proposed to occur concurrently under separate construction contracts. All fire station site rough grading and "pad ready" preparation is included in Phase 1 as identified in the plans for this project. All Phase 1 work is required to be completed by contract day 120.
