This project consists of Sprinkler System Dry Pipe Upgrades at Dr. Daniel Bright School, including the following: 1. Upgrades in the dry pipe sprinkler system in the attic and repair draft stops. 2. Work shall be done with minimal disruption to the finished interior of the school and minimal demolition of the existing school. The intent is to perform all work in the attic by accessing the space through existing vent openings in the mansard roof facias. 3. Patch any surfaces damaged by the work. A Certified or Cashiers Check or a Surety Bond for Ten Percent (10%) of the amount of the bid must accompany each proposal, as a guarantee that the Contractor will enter into a contract to perform the proposal in accordance with the plans and specifications or as liquidated damages in the event of failure or refusal of the Contractor to enter into the Contract, which Check or Bond will be returned to the unsuccessful bidders, and to the successful bidder upon the execution of a satisfactory Contract and Bonds, as prescribed by the Arizona Revised Statutes Owner satisfactory Performance and Labor and Material Bonds in the form prescribed by Arizona Revised Statutes in the amount equal to 100% of the full amount of the proposal. The Performance Bond shall not be limited as to time in which action may be instituted against the surety company for possible non-performance by the Contractor. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all proposals or to withhold the award for any reason it may determine, and also reserves the right to hold any or all bids for a period of SIXTY (60) days after the date of the opening thereof
