Renovation of a transportation facility in Toledo, Ohio. Completed plans call for the renovation of a transportation facility.
The Toledo Area Regional Transit Authority (TARTA) seeks bids from qualifield contractors to replace the passenger elevator at TARTAs downtown Toledo Transit Hub (612 N. Huron St.). The scope of work for this project includes but is not limited to: Removal of the existing elevator; working with the manufacturer on new structural attachment points; installation of new electrical and lighting in pit by code; hoistway alterations to fit new elevator; and all permitting, cutting, and patching as required by code. TARTA has established a Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) goal for this project of 11.65%. The project is subject to the terms and conditions set forth in the TARTA Project Labor Agreement (PLA). The PLA document is availiable, upon request, from TARTAs finance department. TARTA officially distributes bidding documents from the Purchasing Department.
