Remodeling of a mixed-use development in Pierz, Minnesota. Completed plans call for the remodel of a educational facility.

Bids shall be submitted on the printed forms furnished, including Alternates and Unit Prices. All blank spaces in the forms shall be filled in correctly with ink or typewritten, and the completed forms shall be without inter-lineation or alteration. A contractor's bid should include all pages of the bid form. Bid amounts shall be stated both in writing and numerals, and if discrepancies exist the written amounts shall take precedence. Bids shall be signed in longhand. If the bidder is a co-partnership, the signature shall be that of a partner and the names and addresses of all partners shall be listed on the form. If the bidder is a corporation, the signature shall be that of an authorized officer, and the corporate seal shall be affixed to the form. The bid shall include all material, labor, equipment, insurance, taxes, transportation, inspection fee, permits, access fees, services and means necessary and incidental to complete the work in accordance with the Contract. Each bid in excess of $20,000 shall be accompanied by a bid security of 5% of the maximum amount of the bid in the form of a Surety Bond, Certified Check or Cashier's Check. Each successful prime contract bidder shall furnish a Performance and Payment Bonds in the full amount of the contract if contract exceeds $20,000. A bidder may withdraw the proposal at any time before the time set for opening of the bids. No bidder may withdraw a bid for a period of Forty-Five (45) days after the scheduled closing time for the receiving of bids. The Owners reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, or parts of bids, and to waive informalities therein. For the purposes of determining the lowest responsible bidder(s) in the consideration of all bids submitted, the Owners reserves the right to accept or reject any or all alternates, in any order or combination, which appear on the Bid Proposal Form and as it may consider in the best interests of the Owners.
