Renovation of an educational facility in Bedford, New Hampshire. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 59,222-square-foot, one-story above grade educational facility.

Install new automatic sprinkler system to provide complete protection throughout the school. Install new automatic sprinkler system to provide complete protection per NFPA 13-2013 throughout the school, refer to the attached two drawing set. The school is a single story building with a footprint of 59,222 sq.ft. There is a small basement with an area of 704 sq.ft. and second level with an area of 3001 sq.ft. (for staff use only - not open to the students). The new sprinkler system will be a wet pipe system with connection of water flow switches and all sprinkler control valves to the new fire alarm system for the building. The sprinkler contractor will be responsible to provide sprinkler control valves with integral tamper switches. An outside bell is required for the sprinkler system as well. There is an existing 8" underground feed with a stub into the building and capped to supply the new sprinkler system. The sprinkler contractor is responsible to provide system backflow prevention assembly and all the necessary piping and accessories for the sprinkler system. The fire department connection specified is a 4" Storz.
