Renovation of an educational facility in Bedford, New Hampshire. Completed plans call for the renovation of a two-story above grade educational facility.
Install new automatic sprinkler system to provide complete protection throughout the school. The school is a two story building. The sprinkler system shall be zoned by floor at a minimum. The new sprinkler system will be a wet pipe system with connection of water flow switches and all sprinkler control valves to the new fire alarm system for the building. The sprinkler contractor will be responsible to provide sprinkler control valves with integral tamper switches. An outside bell is required for the sprinkler system as well. A new 4" underground feed will be brought into the building and capped to supply the new sprinkler system. The sprinkler contractor is responsible to provide system backflow prevention assembly and all the necessary piping and accessories for the sprinkler system. The fire department connection specified is a 4" Storz
