As of June 8, 2022, project was awarded to New Enterprise, awarded amount is $141,493.60. 2022 Street Paving milling and paving on various streets in the Borough of Schuylkill Haven, Schuylkill County as follows: 3,840 SY of Full Width Milling at 4^" depth 691 Tons Bituminous Base Course 25.0mm at 3" Depth (360 lb/sy) 73 Tons Bituminous Binder Course 19.0mm at 2^" Depth (300 lb/sy) 390 Tons Bituminous Wearing Course with 9.5mm at 1^" Depth (180 lb/sy) All materials must meet PENNDOT Pub. 408 Specifications and Standards, bidders need to be PENNDOT prequalified. All bids must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of ten (10%) percent of the bid made payable to Schuylkill Haven Borough. The successful bidder for the "2022 Street Paving" project will be required to provide a Performance Bond and Payment Bond in the amount of 100% of the contract price within 20 days of the award of the contract pending review awarded at the May 4, 2022 regularly scheduled Council Meeting at approximately 6:30 p.m., or as soon thereafter as the agenda allows.
