Construction work, in general, consists of the following: Culinary Pipeline Replacements: Installation of 2,000 feet of 8-inch culinary water pipe, including valves, fittings, connections to existing mains, replacement of approximately 47 existing culinary water services, replacement of existing fire hydrant, asphalt removal and replacement, concrete removal and replacement, traffic control and all appurtenances required to complete the project and coordination to minimize shutdown time and providing temporary services as necessary. Sewer Pipeline Replacements and Repairs: Installation of 1,170 feet of 8-inch sewer pipe and 173 feet of slip lining a sewer main. The work will include manhole installation, connection to existing manholes, asphalt removal and replacement, concrete removal and replacement, traffic control and all appurtenances required to complete the project and coordination to minimize shutdown time and providing temporary services as necessary. Culinary Sampling Stations: Installation of 20 culinary water sampling stations at various locations in Magna, Utah. The completion date for installing the culinary water pipe is July 15, 2022. The remainder of the project will have a completion date of October 14, 2022.
