The scope of the work includes cold milling of asphalt concrete and resurfacing, localized pavement repairs, installing pavement markings and striping. No bid shall be considered unless it is made on a proposal form furnished by the City of Duarte and is in accordance with the provisions of the Standard Specifications for Public Works Construction, Latest Edition, and all supplements thereto. The Bidding Contractor must possess a valid Contractors License issued by the Contractors State Board at the time the bid is submitted and shall be licensed according with the provisions of the Business and Professional Code. The contractor shall possess a Class A licenses at the time this contract is awarded. The bid prices shall include all costs, including labor, materials, and all other incidental cost to complete the project, in compliance with the Bid and Contract Documents and applicable standards. All other work items not specifically listed in the bid schedule, but necessary to complete the work per bid and contract documents and applicable standards are assumed to be included in the bid prices. BIDDER understands that a bid is required for the entire work, that the quantities set forth in the Bid Schedule are to calculate total bid amount, and that final compensation under the contract will be based upon the actual quantities of work satisfactorily completed. Bidders shall be responsible for verifying the issuance of addenda before submitting a bid.
