Site work and paving for a road / highway in Red Hook, New York. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
All activities on site shall be consistent with State and Federal regulations. This job is subject to prevailing wages. Current wage rates are provided within the Bid Documents. Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope clearly marked "BID - 2022 Paving Project." Bids must be accompanied by certified check or approved surety bond in the sum of 5% of the amount bid. The successful bidder will be required to provide payment and performance bonds in the amount of 100% of the value of the contract. Important Notice: Please be advised that the Town Hall is currently closed to the public due to COVID measures. In person attendance will not be permitted inside the building. Bids should be submitted via mail, overnight delivery, or may be dropped through the Town Clerk's mail slot in the front door of Town Hall. Emails, telegrams, facsimile, or telephone bids will not be considered. The Town will not be responsible for any delay in receipt of bids. Bids will be opened and publicly read aloud immediately thereafter at the Town Hall. The bid opening will be held outside Town Hall, or in the event of inclement weather will be recorded and made available to bidders upon request to the Town Clerk. The Town Board reserves the right to reject any or all bids and re-advertise.
