Noonday Creek Trail at SR 3 and Noonday Creek - Pedestrian Bridge Project Description: The Town Center Community Improvement District (TCCID) and the Atlanta Regional Commission have jointly identified a capital transportation improvement project that provides a safe and convenient crossing for pedestrians and cyclists using the Noonday Creek Trail. The proposed crossing includes elevated boardwalk approaches, a bridge over SR 3/US 41/Cobb Parkway, a bridge over Noonday Creek, and a segment of on-grade trail to tie to the existing sidewalk. The total proposed crossing is approximately 0.60 miles in length, with limits in unincorporated Cobb County and the City of Kennesaw. Proposers are required to be in compliance with the "Georgia Security and Immigration Compliance Act." Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) Participation and Small Business Participation in all DOT contracts is encouraged Cobb County will affirmatively comply with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and 78 Stat. 252, 42 USC 2000d-42 and Title 49, Code of Federal Regulations, Department of Transportation, Subtitle A, Office of the Secretary, part 21 Nondiscrimination Act(s). The Cobb County Board of Commissioners reserves the right to reject all Bids and waive any formalities.
