Project Overview: This project will include the installation of HVAC units at two (2) school sites. The district will purchase the Carrier HVAC units separately. The units are to be installed by the contractor. This project requires a B license or C-20 license. Each bid must be submitted with a Bid Bond executed by the bidder and Surety Company, or certified check, or cashier's check or cash, in an amount equal to 10% of the bid. The successful bidder must provide a Performance Bond and a separate Payment Bond, each in an amount equal to 100% of the contract price, and each issued by a California-admitted surety This is a public works project. Contractors should use prevailing wage to determine the labor costs. Contractors and subcontractors must have a DIR registration number.
