SITE AND PROJECT DESCRIPTION The existing decant facility is located within the Waste Water Reclamation Facility located at 1308 Southeast Grace Avenue in Battle Ground, Washington approximately as shown on the attached Figure 1, Vicinity Map. The existing decant facility was constructed in 2010 using foundation design recommendations provided by PanGEO (PanGEO, 2009). We understand the existing decant facility foundation has performed well over the last 10 years. We understand it is planned to construct new bays on the east and west sides of the facility approximately as shown in Plate 1, on the following page. The new bays will be approximately 26 feet by 30 feet. The new bays will have concrete walls, a steel roof, and a slab-on-grade floor. A relatively shallow below-grade concrete trench will run across the edge of each new bay to allow water to drain from collected waste material. The decant water will drain to an approximately 4 1/2 -foot by 3 1/2 -foot concrete well that will be about 7 feet deep on the north side of the facility.
