Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Schools (District) serves more than 53,000 students in Pre-K through Grade 12 with the goal of providing a quality education for each child. The school system has 41 elementary schools, 15 middle schools, and 18 high schools. Seven specialty schools bring the system-wide total to 81. Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Schools ("WS/FCS") seeks experienced service provider ("Contractor") to provide Traffic Control Service to assist students and drivers at over 46 campus locations across Forsyth County, as defined in Attachment A to Invitation for Bid. Bids for furnishing Traffic Control Service for the period beginning on or about August 29, 2022, and ending on or about June 9, 2023 All questions and requests for clarification must be submitted in writing by mail or e-mail no later than April 22, 2022 at 2:00 pm. All qualified Bids will be evaluated. The Bid determined by WS/FCS to constitute the best value offered for the purpose intended will be accepted. Evaluation criteria will include, but not necessarily be limited to, the bidder's qualifications, references, experience, financial standing, labor supply, ability to hire existing traffic control officers, and bid price. All information contained in a submitted proposal will be part of the public domain. WS/FCS invites and encourages participation in this process by minority owned businesses, women owned businesses, and businesses owned by disabled persons. WS/FCS reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals presented, and the right to waive any informalities or irregularities.
