Saving Project...
Renovation of an educational facility in Crivitz, Wisconsin. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
As of June 7, 2022, this project has been cancelled due to no bids received and no plan to rebid. Protect existing roofs from abuse throughout entire project. A 1" insulation board with 1/2 " plywood is required under all ladders and scaffolding. Contractor assumes all responsibility for repairs of any damage to existing roofs in accordance with existing roofing warranty. Base Bid #1: Sealant Repair at Joints: Cut out or grind out and remove the existing sealant joint and backer rod. Prime the joint with polyurethane sealant primer as recommended by manufacturer. All vertical control joints, window-to-EIFS joints, as well as the horizontal joint located at the top of the metal roofing counterflashing will be repaired. Install new closed cell backer rod, set at correct depth. Apply new Tremco Dymonic FC sealant to the joint running approximately 1/2 " deep by the width of the joint and tool neatly. Apply new Tremco Dymonic FC sealant to all metal counterflashing laps. Dispose of all old sealant / backer rod off site. Alternate Add Bid #2: Restoration of EIFS with Elastomeric Coating: *** Owner to determine color of new elastomeric coating from a standard Sherwin Williams color wheel. Elastomeric coating will need to be custom tinted at a local Sherwin Williams store to achieve proper aesthetics. Contractor to apply a minimum 1 test sample for Owner to approve or modify prior to start of project. Remove all loose, delaminated areas of finish coating of the EIFS system. Repair EIFS areas using manufacturer's standard mixture of polymer emulsion, sound stone particles and fillers. Tool neatly, trying to match finish of existing surface. Clean / prep EIFS areas. Dirt / Mildew areas may require application of TSP or other Biocide. Lightly pressure wash to remove dirt and debris, being careful not to drive moisture into wall components. To repaired/exposed surfaces only: Apply Tremco Solarguard Masonry Primer to the prepped EIFS surface at an application rate of 3/4 gallon per 100 square feet. Apply Tremco Solarguard Hybuild (elastomeric waterproofing system) finish coating to all walls at an application rate of 1.5 gallons per 100 square feet, achieved in two applications using a roller-type application. Product will be shipped as a white color. Alternate Add Bid #3: Restoration of EIFS with Elastomeric Coating @ Main Entrance Areas: Per the scope outlined above, install new elastomeric coating treatment (color to match existing as closely as possible- upon Owner approval of tinted product) to four (4) EIFS panels. Each panel is approximately 3' x 8'. All submissions shall be identified with the Project Name, Project Location, Date, and the Name and Address of company submitting. Submitters shall be responsible for the sealed submission being delivered to the above location before the time specified. Submissions received after the time indicated above will be rejected and returned to the submitter unopened. Delivery to a post office box does not constitute receipt of a bid. Contractor shall carry sufficient insurance limits as required by Owner for the duration of project. Any costs associated with these coverages are to be included the contractor's bid. Owner shall have proof of adequate insurance on file with Owner prior to start of construction. Any unforeseen items that require additional work should immediately be brought to the attention of Chris Dahlby of Tremco, 920-265-2866, cdahlby@tremcoinc.com. Photographic documentation will be required as applicable for all change order work and will be tracked on a daily basis.
