Bids will be received at the Walker Township Municipal Offices at 816 Nittany Valley Drive, Bellefonte, PA 16823 until 4:00PM on May 4, 2022. All bids must be in a sealed envelope clearly marked "Bid for Walker Park Parking Lot, Contract No. 22-01." If the Bid is sent through the mail or other delivery system, the sealed envelope shall be enclosed in a separate envelope with the notation "BID ENCLOSED" on the face of it. Please mail Bids to Walker Township at 816 East College Avenue, State College, PA 16801. Bids will be opened at 6:30 PM on May 4, 2022 at the regularly scheduled meeting of the Township Supervisors. Prospective bidders may obtain copies of the Bidding Documents free of charge upon request by calling Walker Township at 814-383-2859 or by e-mailing the Township office at walkertownship@gotmc.net. The Bidding Documents will be delivered electronically through e-mail. When requesting bidding documents provide contact person s name, phone number, and e-mail address The Contract includes: site grading, construction of a 140 space paved parking facility, erosion and sedimentation control, and post construction stormwater management facilities. Bid security must be provided at the time of bid submission in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total bid price made payable to Walker Township in the form of a certified or bank check or a bid bond issued by an accepted surety and executed by the bidder. Project is subject to the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act. A copy of the Prevailing Wage Determination is included in the bidding documents. Walker Township reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any bidding informalities.
