Renovation of a mixed-use development in Weed, California. Working plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
As of 5/11/2022, the owner did not receive any bids for the contract and will be reposting the contract in a few days. The Contractor is responsible to furnish all required materials, labor, equipment, tests, and tools to perform all necessary construction to build and erect a new 13,955-gallon fire water steel bolted tank as per plans and specifications. The services shall be performed at 300 US Hwy 97 Weed CA, 96094. Questions 04/21/22 2:00 p.m. Answers 04/25/22 Potential Bidders may submit written questions regarding the bid by 2:00 p.m. on April 21, 2022. All questions should be emailed in writing to Christopher.Cabanes@fire.ca.gov and CAL FIRE will provide answers to questions by written response on April 25, 2022. NO QUESTIONS will be entertained after April 21, 2022. Bond Requirements A. For contracts exceeding $10,000, in which progress payments will be made, Contractor shall furnish a Performance Bond on a standard bonding company form, in an amount not less than one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price. B. For all contracts exceeding $25,000, Contractor shall furnish a Payment Bond on form STD. 807 in an amount not less than one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price. C. Bond(s) must be issued by a California-admitted surety (CCP 995.311). D. Bond(s) will be released, less expenses, upon proof of satisfaction of all claims or 120 days after completion of all contracted work, whichever is later.
